I'm pretty sure that even the chickenest of Chicken Littles understands that there will be growing pains; the consistent argument here is that Jake is still Jake and will continue to be Jake no matter what happens around him.

  3. This.

Just about every post is blaming Locker but the reality is you guys lost because of our offensive line. They had their way with your defense's front seven in the run game. They moved guys around and created lanes for Murray, time and time again. It would have been a closer game if Locker made those wide open throws but in the end Dallas would have continued to pound the ball and run their way to victory.

That's a lot of "IF's"....and "IF" my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle, but she doesn't and she isn't! Bottom line winning teams find ways to win and losing teams find ways to lose.

I think we've turned the corner with the coaching staff and the pieces are starting to fall into place but as much as I like Locker and hoped and prayed he was the man, I'm seriously about to throw in the towel with him. It's do or die time for his career right now and he comes out and lays an egg at home. That's not a good sign, he's healthy, the line protected exceptionally well today and he was missing easy, wide open throws. That type of erratic play in your 4th year with a decent amount of weapons and a good line doesn't give me much confidence that Locker is the man.

Kansas City playing up to Denver's level.

Just goes to show that you can always bounce back after a tough week. The Titans could easily walk into Cincy next week and dominate. Will they?

That's up to the players and coaches.

@SawdustMan how in the hell do you still have any confidence in Locker... and Im not panicking, the guy embarrassed our team today and you expect the receivers to bail him out, how about he learn to throw from the ******* pocket and not go into halftime with a 1.7 QBR, with the O-Line blocking their ***** off and creating a good pocket and not walk off and ignore Whiz on the sideline ...

Now watch, he'll come out the next couple games and look amazing again, build our hopes up and then fall apart again right when we think he's finally turned the corner. Nothing worse than a big tease!

It'll happen again and again if we don't cut him down to the bench this season

Jake played the worst first half of football I've ever seen. He will not be our long term option. He has had accuracy issues in the past and he resorted back to it during that half. Sure, he came out balling in the 2nd half but we can't have that type of inconsistency. We will never be able to trust him as our QB if we happen to make it to the playoffs. I say let him play this year, let Zach learn some this season and send Jake on his way.
