No Home Field Advantage...

We arrived in the Lot at 7:00 a.m. and the new parking mgmt. company came over immediately to advise that they were going to enforce the parking spaces/parking passes because LP Field would be packed yesterday, etc. - They advised they were cracking down and all vehicles/canopies on the grass had to be within "one" space, etc. and they were expecting an above average crowd.

We headed to the stadium at approx. 11:20 or so and at that point there were empty spaces everywhere in our section. We did not have to stand in line very long and when we got to our seats there were several empty seats for the duration of the game, and many, many Cowboys fans.

Our group continually reflects back to the days when the stadium and parking lot were rocking and the game day experience was great. Not anymore - until the Titans can put some back to back wins together with a glimmer at going to the play-offs nothing will change. You can call it fair weather fans or whatever but Titans Fans are just tired............. same as Lions fans used to be.

The two PSL's beside us were vacated this year and I do mean not sold - just vacated, because they couldn't sell them -

 

15-18 since 2010. There's no reason for fans to be excited.

 

A guy called into 104.5 this morning with similar complaints. They told him to email Don Maclachlan. Maybe if enough people make a stink about it they will take some action.

 

What's his email address/where do I post this to titans office? I kept joking to my company that I "WAS GOING TO WRITE A LETTER!!!" but I really will if it's easy to do.

 

The guys on 104.5 made it out like it should be relatively easy to send him an email but I don't see anything on the official site. I did however find this info in an article that was several years old so not sure if still current or not:

Doesn’t sound like a great experience, compounded by the crap performance. When I was in Seattle, the experience was great. It was of course sold out, yet I could get a beer in less than a minute. There were tons of people but there really weren’t any big lines which I was surprised about. The only other reference I have are CFL stadiums which are nowhere near as big, or NHL arenas.


As for the game, I mainly put this one on Locker. He had a terrible game, it seemed every throw was a bit off target. Not being able to stop the run didn’t help though. It was a tough loss, and the coming weeks aren’t going to be any easier.
