Sure.innocent until proven guilty. But innocent people don't often find themselves in trouble with the law this much. He needs to learn how to not be an idiot if he values his career.

What a bunch of dumb frat guys do on a different college campus is beside the point. Star qbs are not those kids. They have a lot on the line.

He's already got a record, and has lost his benefit of the doubt. And now he lost half of an important game because he acts like a fool in public. Will be learn? We will see. Some people are incapable of laying low.

Hundreds of star football players seem to make it just fine without any scandal. Winston can't go a few months.

What happens in college does not stay in college when you have a multimillion dollar future, and Espn following your every move.

Said this in a previous post, but, with the current trend that appears to be moving towards sitting a player down if he has been arrested/indicted for a crime until resolution on that arrest/indictment has been reached, I would think that teams may start looking at this issue as an issue similar to a chronic injury condition (indictment prone, if you will).

Setting the PR problems aside for a second, for a team the problems with an indictment prone player will be the same as for an injury prone player - invested money with no return on investment during the indictment period.

Maybe the lower rookie caps on salary will mitigate this concern some, but I would bet that it will at least be a consideration when drafting a player.

True VY was just an entitled baby, but he never had problems with the Law. I guess what I meant to say is that they both had and have the world of talent....VY threw his away and I am hoping Winston learns before it's too late.
