If every rookie QB who turned the ball over in the preseason never got a chance, well, there wouldn't be many QBs around.

That said, it's definitely still too early to be throwing in the towel on Jake. But if he has a few more games like last Sunday, yank his @$$. You simply can't have your 4th year QB single-handedly losing football games for you.

 

Single handedly?? C'mon Sawdust, Whiz has already called out the WRs for not winning against poor DBs, and Casey has stood up and called out his defense for playing terribly and not stopping the run. It's not like we're talking about the triple option, we're talking about the friggin Dallas Cowboys who fail so terribly to run the ball.

 

Okay so he didn't single-handedly lose us the game. But he single-handedly got us in a rut that we never recovered from IMO.

Whis bashing WR's is merely him trying to protect Jake.

 

Locker was awful in the first half but in my opinion our play calling didn't help him.

We called pass on 3rd and 3 and then again on 3rd and 2 and failed both times. To be fair we called pass on 3rd and 3 for Walkers 61 yd TD.

Taking a shot when its not expected on occasion is good. Overall though calling a pass on every 3rd and short is too predictable.

 

Our play calling was fine and had no problems with it. It is the execution of the plays that stopped us. Locker is in his 4th year and if he doesn't get it by now then he never will. He can play ok but ok is not good enough in the NFL.
