Not used to playing QB? ROFL! You know he's a PROFESSIONAL NFL Quarterback, right?

Why would we blame the defense (who aren't on the field) or the WR's (when he's throwing to a TE)? This is how to look at this play. Locker made the right read, but had a guy coming in on him and as with a lot of QB's who can't follow thru, they sail it. The TE was wide open for a nice play. The OL needs to do a better job AND Locker needs to complete that throw with that kind of pressure.

It's a little silly to pull out a play or two and say he's terrible. Should I pull out 2 plays where he throws it perfectly to 'prove' he's the best QB of this generation? No. this is silly.

There was enough blame to go around for just about the whole team for the dallas loss. Locker played poorly, the WR's played poorly, the OL wasn't very good. Our front 7 was very poor in the run game with bad run fits and tackling. And our secondary wasn't exactly anything to write home about. And our special teams wasn't inspiring either.

We need to do better in all phases of the game!

But I am optimistic. In the past, we would have been blown out by 40-50pts if we played that poorly. In this game, we actually cut it to 6pts and got back into the game. And I think we will do better on both sides of the ball as the season progresses.

You are kind of skewing a few things (some of which are simply not true) into sounding like an onslaught. Accuracy issues, erratic throwing the ball and off-target are all the same thing. Is he the most accurate QB? No. He does have accuracy issues sometimes. So did Brett Favre but that didn't stop him!

He lacks the basic skills to make it as a starting NFL QB? Is this your other assertion that he is INCAPABLE of reading defenses? The video, game play, and coaching AND the simple FACT that he is starting on an NFL team prove your assertion false. He does read defenses and goes through his reads. Does he do it perfectly everytime? No. But Peyton and Brady don't either.

A 7.6 passer rating is misleading. No one is disputing he didn't play well. But WR's dropping the ball on 3rd down are drive killers. The OL needs to protect better, Locker needs to throw it better, and the WR's need to catch the d@mn ball! Let's not pretend that this loss is all on Jake and that everyone but him was great. The whole team didn't play well in spurts and the offense/defense and special teams didn't do enough to win the game. The offense should have made many more plays that were there. The defense needed to do what they practiced...hit the right gap and make the tackle. The special teams needed to give us a big return and a spark when we got back in the game. They didn't.

Everyone top to bottom has to play better...period!!!

Check out this play. If you didn't know how to read a defense, you would have thrown a 3yd pass to Wright and hope he got 5-10yds. Instead, Jake read the defense and saw how to take advantage and did. He didn't make a perfect throw, but the throw was good enough.

So it's a little difficult to take people seriously who say he can't read a defense when he does and is doing just that. And for all the experts, what defense are they in?

The pocket for Locker was clean until he started scrambling around like a headless chicken. Oher got his man to go around deep, all Locker had to do was slide right. Everybody else held their blocks perfectly.

Where was all this hard critique and Locker bashing after the Kansas City game? That's what I thought. This whole team is in flux at this point in the season and we could change position players with virtually no effect. We knew what we had in our hand when we left camp and now we have to play with the cards we have. If Locker chokes a few more games he will be grabbing some bench, you can bet on that.

What bothers me is there have been several times in both games that all he had to do was run for the first down and he does not do it! I mean last week he had 15 yards of clear daylight for the first down and he throws into double coverage. I wish he would go back to tuck it and running it when it is there.
