Obviously not in the first round. Or second. Or third.

Admittedly, there is something a bit ironic about your post considering your comment on the FSU game after they squeaked by Clemson thanks to a lucky fumble and a kicker having a bad night. :)

    The fuuuuuuuu...

Did someone really say they wouldn't mind if we drafted Sims to replace Locker????

A 5th yr player that has had like one good game (today) and his offensive coordinator thought he sucked in the offseason?

Yeaaaaaahhh.... I can think of about 30 other QB prospects I'd target before a 5'9 QB that sucks in pretty much every aspect.

Amari Cooper will make anyone look good for a game or 2.

Bama should've won 63-0 if it wasn't for our freaking fumbles.

and no. Sims should not be drafted to replace Locker. He's doing better than I thought but come on now

" I wouldn't be too terribly mad if the Titans drafted Sims if Locker doesn't pan out. Nice to have a QB that can complete a deep pass."

Go ahead. Translate that for us...

Well, for starters it would help if you could read more than 1.67 sentences in a post (granted, that explains a lot about you). In the part you cut off at the beginning I clearly had the stipulation of Saturday's game not being a fluke, that is, it would have to consistently happen for the rest of the season.

Next up, I just said I wouldn't be terribly mad if he was drafted. Not as a first round replacement, not even necessarily as a replacement at all. I wouldn't feel good about taking any QBs early in this draft, and in fact think we need to focus on the pass rush and/or secondary in the coming draft because I don't think any QBs coming out would be much of an immediate improvement. But if Locker doesn't pan out, he likely isn't on the team anymore, so I wouldn't be mad at drafting a third QB to compete with Mett next year likely around the same round, and if they don't work out, then we obviously wouldn't have a good record so focus on QB next year.

To clarify, I wasn't terribly mad that we drafted Mett either. Not excited, but not mad. In fact, let me emphasize that "not terribly mad" is not equivalent to "excited" or "happy".

The comment about the deep pass was about Alabama having a QB who can do that. If you had ever actually watched McElroy or McCarron play you would know they wouldn't have made those deep passes (at least, not well). So it's nice that Alabama has someone that can complete a deep pass.

Clear? Or do you need me to draw pictures?
