I saw a report already, it said no 'drugs or alcohol' were believed to be in play. I think he just lost control of his car, horrible news... Just sucks.... He was a great dude and worse just got married in June.

    F'in blows....

I don't think that's true at all. Not that it matters.

This is just terrible news though. I'll remember how he helped my friend at a bar when she busted her ass trying to do some gymnastics. He was both funny and friendly. Rip.

And I'm pretty sure he was well known for being a drinker at bars... His beer belly got bigger every year.

That doesn't at all mean he'd drink and drive though. I sure hope not.

But you'd have to think speeding/texting was involved.

    Well this is sad. Damn.

RIP Rob we'll never forget you. Without Bironas we never have that 13-3 season in 2008.

Horrible news! I hate this so bad! I hope his family and friends can find peace in this terribly difficult time.

This really blows for us Titans fans/family. I couldn't agree more with the previous comment stating that even when we sucked, Rob was always dependable and fun to watch. My heart goes out to his wife and family as 36 is way too young to be taken guys. I just hope we go out and whoop some a$$ today in memory of him. The sad part is, they cut him for 2 guys they didn't keep anyway, and had to go get an experienced kicker in Succoup.

Should have said not known as driving drunk....

With that being said, I didn't realize until a few months ago that Rob has a son. I'm sure his son is devastated this morning. Thoughts and prayers go out to his little man to help him get through the loss of his father.
