I just hope he doesn't take being ripped all the time as a slight and decide he doesn't want to re-sign here after his 4 year contract is up. Tough love is all well and good but people have been all up this kid's ass since he got on the team. I'd be pretty sick of being chastised and blamed for losses by now if I was him.

When the Titans refused to extend Locker, they publicly put Jake on notice.

On the bright side if we are as awful as many are saying we're in a great position to get the franchise qb we want via draft. Jags already got their guy, we'll see how bad rams are, Vikings got qb, raiders ditto

You know what, I hadn't thought about it, but I agree. Hunter is the least of our problems, and if I were him, I would be tired of being blamed for bad things happening.

We could have the Dragon Ball Z fusion of Calvin Johnson and AJ Green lining up outside and it wouldn't matter.

I understand he is a big long guy who should pull catches over anyone. But Hunter could be running in an open field with no one on him and it would still take a psychic to find out where the **** Jake is going to throw the ball.

As of right now only 2 things are possible. Either Whiz blaming the wideouts for last week's loss was him just trying to protect Locker from the masses or the man does not know what the hell he's watching.I'm pretty sure it's the former.

Yea.So far he's been pretty much called a soft p*ssy, immature, an underachiever, "just a guy", and was called out by name for playing badly in the team's embarrassing loss. Verner felt slighted enough to leave and he didn't get nearly the rough treatment Hunter has. For whatever reason people love to watch "tough love" on display but the recipient doesn't always feel the same way.

When he plays all pro he'll be treated like all pro. Until then he's an over-hyped ex-Vol.

There is a ton of middle ground between being treated like an all-pro and being treated like an over-hyped ex-vol/scrub. There are many non all pros on this team and few of them ever get singled out, let alone as frequently as Hunter has been. I'm not saying we should be licking his balls but we do have to stop kicking them at some point.

We traded a 3rd to move up and get him. That's a 2nd and a 3rd IIRC. Webster's balls need kicking as well. And he's a grown nan. I'd sure hate fir him to pout because we hurt his feelings.
