Would they have found out Bironas died pre-game? I wonder how much that had an effect on the team?

 

It seems like only so many guys knew Bironas for any real length of time...like Roos, McCourty, Griffin...and....um...seriously, I forget.

I have to wonder if he was on the team still, would that accident have happened? Pointless, I know. And he was done as a kicker. But R.I.P. Surreal.

 

Did he ever marry bradshaw's daughter? I know were going to be married.

 

A lot of them would have played with him at least last year so that's a fair number of players who knew him for at least a year.

Locker and Bironas were team mates for 3 years. He's a stand-up dude, I'm sure he was bothered by the death when he heard the news.

It wouldn't surprise me to hear that stated publicly along with "there is no excuse for how I played yesterday...........but I let it effect me.........I'm going to focus on being more professional.........be a better QB.......make better reads.......etc."

I'm sure something was drafted for Locker and Whiz to state today.

Going to be really hard for guys to follow Locker after that super chitty performance on the heels of a similar preceding one. This team is most likely going to mail it in unless they get something to follow at QB.

As mad as I was about BWW miss, I call it a wash because we got super lucky with the interception near the end of first half when Bernard bobbled that screen in the air. If Gio had caught it, it would've been at least a 30 yard gain for them, maybe a TD break.

Of course then Locker proceeded to blow it after the D got the pick so we suck again.
