I've been done personally. I have just been hoping for the best and supporting the team. The Locker experiment is over! When you have your captain on offense missing wide open players, dancing with no pocket presence, and showing little improvement, it's time to go. NONE of us on here should be questioning and wondering 4 years in.....It's ridiculous at this point.

I mean you know it's bad when you watch your 6th round pick throw more accurately, and hope he gets playing time instead of your starter.

We would have to finish with at least 10 wins this season for me to want to keep him.

I'll be honest, if he plays like he has the past 2 weeks, we may see 5 or 6 wins if we are lucky.....Mett will likely see time by the end of the season. I am also thoroughly disappointed in our WR's as well. (Even though Jake wouldn't hit them if open and running clean routes anyway). Good starting QB's can make average receivers look great. I guarantee if you stick and accurate vet on this team, it would be a whole different story.

If that happens he gets himself a few more weeks. I'll only "trust him" if he plays good the rest of the year. Twelve good games in a row should squash any inconsistencies

    Is that gonna happen?

    No.

I missed the game (besides seeing a score scroll in a car) yesterday due to a weekend-long family commitment, and it looks like it was a good thing I did.

Mett has not dressed this season yet, that is correct. However, I would not extrapolate from that to mean that he is not good enough to dress or back up. I say the same thing that I said in preseason....if Locker struggles (which he is clearly doing now) or our season is bagged, we will see Mett start. To not do that would be irresponsible on our management's part, since we really need to know what cards we hold at QB before next offseason.

My gut is that we may start seeing Mett dress in the next couple of weeks, and if Locker struggles again we may see him go in at some point. Either way, he will start some games this season IMO unless things really change in a drastic manner (which at this point I doubt, as I believe that Locker has lost all confidence in himself, unfortunately).

In any case, I think that the Locker experiment for us is done (by season's end at the latest), unless we have some dramatic turnaround in performance (Locker's and team's) that is consistent for the remainder of the season.

This team is like finding ways to lose. Nobody making plays. If I remember, Mett and hunter had good chemistry in preseason and Lewan called Mett a stud. If locker don't turn it around in next couple games, would be time to do something different. Cbj or Mett would need to be put in.
