I made a comment about how I wouldn't be as pissed as the Dallas loss if Jake didn't have a good game on account of cincy having a good D.

Mainly because was a huge VY supporter, and just felt I should stop being a ***** and show the same type of support I had for him for Jake. VY was showing signs of improvement his 4th & 5th years here. I figured the same can happen to Locker.

But alas, I lied to myself and I'm even more upset than last week.

Jake seems like he is regressing, he looks like he is playing scared. I get the feeling he is more concerned about staying healthy than trying to make plays. His body language is troubling and even looks flustered half the time before he ball is even snapped.

This is seriously the most uninspired QB play I've seen in a long time. Dude looks like he doesn't even enjoy playing football anymore.

What's messed up is before he got hurt last year, he was hitting targets and playing confident. But now he acts like hes scared to get hurt. Hell, I would too if I was as fragile as him. But still, fourth ueat, make or break, step up and take your job.

Locker throws the worst deep ball in the league. Nothing has changed since he has came here day 1. Except now he's lost speed and gets tackled by a defensive lineman.

To me Locker actually looked pretty decent during the beginning of the game. I was ready to happily eat my words and then for whatever reason the wheels fell off.

I agree. We were moving the ball well. I think he felt the immense pressure to produce early. The stalled drives and missed FGs broke his spirit/confidence IMO. His arm went to chit again. All signs of a head case. The mere fact we are considering that hes a head case means he is.

He throws a terrible deep ball, can't do anything against the blitz. and when he has too much time he panicks and makes a bad decision. For example he about threw a pick six to Newman yesterday when the bengals only sent 2 ppl and he had all day to hold the ball. Instead he rushed the throw and it should have been a pick six.

Idk I thought he looked off target even early on. Yeah he was completing passes but he was putting the ball high a lot. I almost commented on it in the GDT but I was trying to stay positive lol.
