Whisenhunt says Lewan at G an option.

The reason we're not moving Oher to Guard is because he is playing pretty well at tackle. It' already going to mess with the OL gelling if we switch Levitre out for Lewan so there is no need to mess with it even further by having 2 guys switching into a new position rather than one. Now if Oher starts to stink up the joint after this, Lewan to RT is a no brainer.

 

To be fare to Ruston, Levitre was the premier FA Guard available and we were all happy that we got him at the time. It 's a shocker that his play has been so weak.

And yes, Levitre was the best OG available at the time. So the team overpaid to get him. Despite the fact some people seem to think the Titans never overpay anyone. And if I remember correctly most people here were screaming for the Titans to sign Levitre before the season even ended.

 

Yeah Levitre may suck balls but Ruston can't be blamed for bringing him in. I was ecstatic when I heard we signed him.
