Battery aka Harding Place W is a narrow road and definitely not an ideal street for higher speeds. During the day people drive like maniacs. It would be a pretty stretch at night.

I wonder if he wasn't crazed from breathing fumes..

Yeah, something isn't adding up here. I feel terrible for his wife, but I have a feeling she is holding back quite a bit of information. Who reports someone missing after 30 minutes? He had to have been on something.

In this day in age its a miracle if you can disconnect from the world for 30-minutes

For his wife to wonder where he is is very normal IMO

To wonder where he is, and to report him as a missing person to police are two totally different things. She obviously knew something was going on with him.

My uncle committed suicide on a motor cycle in Kansas. He was a truck driver and just found out he had a kid in Oklahoma he didn't know about. He was too ashamed to confront my aunt and tell her. He hydroplaned off the road going 90+ mph and crashed into a mailbox. Suicide is not out of the picture for Bironas either. No one knows what was going through his head.

Fraley, the Belmont student, said he hasn't slept since the incident.

"I am not trying to soil this guy's reputation or his legacy. I know this community thinks very fondly of him. I am just being honest, and I'm trying to get this off my chest. He tried to kill us. He told us he was going to try and kill us,'' Fraley said.

I had the same thought. You don't report someone missing so soon just because they aren't answering their cell phone. UNLESS you have a very good reason to be concerned about their well-being.

I agree there's likely a component to this that his wife is withholding.

Not necessarily....disappearing from the house at 10:30 on a Saturday night after saying you are going to bed would warrant a call to the cops from me as well. Also, she called relatives and friends before the cops, so I do not see this as overly revealing to me.

To wonder? Yes. To be so concerned that you call the police? No.

Bironas was a grown man and a professional athlete (even if he was just a kicker). So you're not really worried about an abduction or anything like that. Again, she most likely had a reason to be that concerned about his well-being. Besides just "He left without telling me and didn't answer his phone."

The situation gets more bizarre as new reports come out. The road raging the first vehicle, weird but ok. Then the report of him trying to ram the students off the road and say he'll kill them followed by a high speed chase.... Something definitely isn't adding up and as others have said, I wouldn't be shocked if the wife was holding something back.
