Honestly, I think Whis is pushing Locker in his system just to see what he's got. Why not, Locker is cheap and there's no real rush this year... relatively speaking.

is it bad that when we are down by two or more td's I do not not want our offense to throw the ball for fear of losing the game by more points lol. It is also sad that it is not even October and I am dreading this game next Sunday but I will watch with much less enthusiasm with no to little expectations due to an inept offense

I have kept quiet over the Locker matter ,always been a supporter. He can be successful, but not here. We have no willingness to stick to a running game under Whizs offense. Jake cant be successful without that. I have said it before, he belongs in an old Mike Shanahan system

NFL.com had a little article on his wrist injury.

MRI reveled minor damage. It's a strained wrist.

Locker is still set to play Sunday. Whis has stated he will not bench Locker over performance issues, that he has learned from past experiences, you have to be patient with your QB.

dude no. it has nothing to do with the system. he's inaccurate and can't read a defense. he thought nate was wide open on that pick he threw, said so himself. on nfl live today they showed the play. he missed a read completely then ran and threw a pass directly to the spot a college kid wouldn't throw to... the middle of a cover-2.

how many years of partially played seasons are we going to have to put up with before you can say he's garbage?

4 is enough for me. If he's constantly hurt and constantly sucking, why waste time waiting for marginally better results in a few games?

4 years would be one to many with most teams. We gave him a fair chance in my opinion and it is now time to move on.

System does make a difference. Cutting reads in half ,limits something he supposedly cant do. Every QB who ever played makes that kind of bonehead throw once in a while. Jake needs the help of a running game, the ability to roll the pocket. 20-25 attempts per game...not 40. He can be successful....not great ,but successful...but not here in this offense imo.
