I don't know about benching him, but I'm done with Locker.

Around 4/5 times he ACTUALLY does get the ball ‘close’ to a receiver, its above, behind, below, or too far in front; to the point where the WR / TE has to adjust and loses his ability to make a play (aka the first guy miss).

People don’t realize its on the QB, about as much as it's on the WR / TE, to make the first guy miss… And let's face it, if he can't do that on <10 yard passes, what exactly can he do...

He can't throw deep... He can't read coverages all that well.... He can't hot route receivers to an inside slant on obvious (all out) blitzes... He can't scramble anymore b/c he gets injured... He doesn't even move around the pocket all that well for someone who's that athletic...

Its time to face facts, he's just gotta go...

Yeah, I'm really surprised at Gut's defense of him. As I've been saying for as long as I've followed this game: stats mean nothing in this game because there are waaaaay too many variables.
Four years. It's been four years. That's almost half a decade. Red herrings like coach changes, union lockouts and lack of locker room leadership are irrelevant; the guy's entire career has been questionable. Webster thought he saw something at a draft where we needed a QB and little was available and it turned out a bust. It's not complicated.

completely agree.... He looks lost as the defense comes at him and shows panic not patience. That throw across his body is a rookie mistake. Most teams don't give qb's 4 years to develop these days so I think he got the benefit of the doubt there but he just didn't work out. The sooner the Titans move on the better we will be.

Agreed guys....Sad story, but 4 years is just ridiculous and draining at this point.

Can we trade for RG3? Him and Wright would beast just like they were back at Baylor. You know RG3's days in Washington are numbered anyway...
