    Right now, I think Horton is just doing his best to fit square pegs into a round hole.

    We need an overhaul. The problem is we cant get it done in one off season. They had this off season to try to get some patchwork done. Offensive line, so much money, and they are bad. We need mroe pass rush. We need linebackers. We need a CB. Not to mention we still need a QB.

    Just trying to accept early that its going to be a long season so that my Sundays arent ruined by raging all day about how bad my team was.

    not to mention I really didn't understand whiz's use of timeouts in the first half at the end. Especially using the last one too, was the clock running when he called our last time out?

    At least we scored. Mentally I can't keep taking these losses.

    It really does seem like we have a long way to go.

    I knew from preseason that this defense would be awful, but kept getting "it's only preseason" nonsense.

    I truly feel this is what the real problem is. So many people really did think that all we needed were coaches, and we would be fine.

    Draft a QB in the 1st and all defense after that. We have no talent on defense, not even depth. A new QB, a new identity, and a year under the new defense with Horton's own guys makes me a bit more optimistic.

    Right now it's just rough. We're basically in for another wasted year (except the whole getting experience thing). Once Locker goes down again just give the ball to Mett. We need a top 5 pick.

    There were so many failures today it's hard to even put blame anywhere. Our secondary is as bad as I have ever seen it. I don't know if they just are not executing the scheme or if it's the scheme itself. Woodyard was horrible today...could not tackle to save his life.

    I really think we need a very good WR coach....we have too much talent there to be as bad as we are. I just don't get it. I am off the Hunter wagon....I see Britt in that guy...physically talented but mentally weak.

    So frustrating and I imagine Whiz may start making some moves...got nothing to lose in doing so.

    I still think we have a much better coaching staff now...but really now question just how much talent we really have.

    Delaney was about the only bright spot of the day.

    Hunter is weak. Period. Another stupid draft trade vis a vis Ben troupe and Jared Cook. Our scouts need to be fired.
