    When I heard him say that it really made me go WTF! I can understand that he isn't just gonna publicly come out and say we suck but he implied plenty that is the case. He didn't name specific guys he just slyly pointed out that they all suck.

    I am still trying to figure out wtf Washington is our third down back.

    If we know they are going to blitz, then put in a bigger back that can actually protect.

    I actually like this move by Whisenhunt. As a coach it's your job to use the players you have to win games. If the players don't fit the scheme..change the scheme up. Fit your scheme to the players strengths.

    This shows me that he is trying to make an adjustment to make the players he currently has better. Even if they do suck. That's something a titans coach hasn't done in a while.

    The turn over on this team next year is going to be HUGE. 1/3? Half?

    It's gonna look a lot different in a hurry if this is what whiz really thinks.

    And rightfully so but wow does it suck to see we truly have been in rebuild mode since 2008.

    Munch and company apparently let this bunch get away with a lot.

    I'll check back in the morning to see if you fixed it.

    Goodnight.

    KISS= Keep it simple, Stupid.

    Whiz says he's going to simplify the offense. He again points at the WRs for not running the right splits or depths in their routes. Does he also think Locker needs easier reads? I think so.

    Reason being, it's happened before. Palmer's offense was simplified before he was finally fired because it was too complex (too many reads by the WRs and QB). Loggains was applauded for keeping it simple which resulted in boring and predictable because, IMO, average talent gets exposed when opponents know what you're doing.

    Coming in, I think Whiz gave a lot more credit to the Locker than he deserved. Sure, he's in his fourth season but has only 21 starts during that time. Contrast that with Rivers who hadn't missed a start in seven seasons. Locker is having to grasp the third offense in as many seasons.

    I applaud this decision. I think the mark of a good coach is to recognize his team's talents (and deficiencies) and adjust.

    Will simplification fix anything? If it adds some confidence to those players struggling, it can't hurt as long as simple doesn't mean predictable. That, in combination with some weaker teams coming up, hopefully gets the offense back on track and Whiz can slowly re-install more as the season wears on.
