At this point I would find it refreshing to hear we are a terrible team from Whiz, Webster et al.

I hope we get a higher draft pick and not waste it on meaningless wins over Jax etc. I'd like to see us trade players for picks and build the Defense.

    IMO...

Any year that is not a playoff year is a total failure. 8-8 is hardly any better than 4-12. Result is the same, or even better. Wins DO NOT transfer over to the next season, as we have seen. There is no season to season momentum.

A no playoff year is a no playoff year. If you're gonna be out of the picture, may as well be one of the worst.

It's tough bro, no doubt. I haven't given up on Whiz personally, I just think we have a lot of holes to fill and an often injured and inconsistent QB.

Ya, I got no emotional attachment since 2010-11 or so.

I watch. If they lose.. totally expected.. if they win....well, that's nice.

Not worth raising your blood pressure over, for sure. I try to only get attached and very involved in things that I can have an effect on. Titans football is definitely not one of those things.

I hate to say it because, really, because you shouldn't ever want your favorite team to lose, but if the Titans aren't going to make the playoffs they might as well pick high in the draft. Hopefully they can get some help on defense, like in the secondary, and pick up a decent QB in either the second or third. I just don't think there's a QB worth picking in the top-five in 2015. Might as well go with the best defensive player available...

I'm sure the franchise hates it.. because all sales will be down, tickets (already sold) but food and drink, jerseys, memorabilia.. nobody's buying.

They can't benefit from us being emotionally and financially detached.. which most of us are at this point, as a fanbase.

It's one thing to be terrible, it's another to call a gameplan that looks like we are intentionally trying to lose, like we did in the 2nd half yesterday. Whitehurst QB sneak on 4th down on our own 40... WTF.

It's tough when you are worse than mediocre, like yesterday all the talking heads on the sports channels and the parody Twitter accounts were all making fun of us. That was hard to take. But in the long run it will be better to be terrible than mediocre. It might be that we have to take two steps backwards before we can start going forwards.

We need to build our defense. We've gone offense in the draft 6 out of the last 7 years. However, QB trumps all. If we have a top 5 pick and there's a guy there they like, they have to take him. However, I don't see an Andrew Luck or even a Blake Bortles in this draft class. If there is a stud defensive player there, they should take him and go Qb in the 2nd. Think if we went Watt in the 1st instead of Locker and Kaepernick in the 2nd where we would be sitting. But because they reached for a QB we are stuck where we are.

I haven't looked at this QB draft class too closely but it looks like Mariota, Winston, or Cook could all do well for us. Winston has off the field problems which will probably scare them away (which doesn't really bother me if he comes in and plays well and wins). But last time they went with the high character guy in Locker and we see where that got them.

Anybody know of any pass rushers in this draft that could be legit?
