Mettenberger Time?

    And as I mentioned earlier, Wilson hasn't even played this week.

    Plus, WGAF what CBJ's QB rating is? He's not going to be our starter beyond this season, so why give him reps when we have a potential rookie to take them instead. We lost to the Browns, at home and are 1-4. The season is pretty much over. Might as well give Mett some reps to see if he can do anything. Maybe he shows some flashes and gives Whiz confidence not to blow our likely high 1st on a QB when he could use it on a defensive game changer.

    The games mean nothing at this point and honesty, we're so behind the 8 ball I hope we don't win another game. Starting CBJ really doesn't benefit this team in any way shape or form.

    Really sad when we're 5 games into the season and it's already time for Mett to start.

    Most competent fans saw this coming last year.

    Some of us wanted to give Locker one more chance, and it didn't take long at all to backfire, huh?

    Whitehurst was not the problem yesterday. The OL and receivers taking the second half off was the problem. Hard to run when you have guys hitting the RB a yard into the backfield.

    Second half there were times where there was no safety back deep and Hunter was 1 on 1 on the outside...and the guy could not get open. THAT is a problem.

    I officially am on that whole "Locker can't stay healthy" bus....even if it is a short one. However no one can say he did not start out playing incredibly well yesterday. Was not his fault that on a slide IN THE ENDZONE having his head almost taken off.. That fool LB should have been tossed out of the game for that and I hope he gets the max fine.

    To have his hand hit the helmet of the CB who came in and hit him in the head....well...dude is just snakebit....that is all there is to it.

    They still won't start Mett no time soon. CBJ will start a couple of games then Locker will come back and play two games and get hurt again then CBJ will finish out the year. Then it will be either a 4-12 or 5-11 season.

    The plan the entire time was to let Locker play out his contract, if we had a higher pick then who knows. Maybe we draft Bortles. Also, this team has far more issues than QB play. I'm just ready for Mettenberger to play so I have a reason to watch. If he can play well then that just gives me a little bit of hope for the future. I rather see that compared to clipboard jesus running around like a chicken with his head cut off.

    He is snakebit, but unless his entire hand shattered, he needs to play through that. The guy is about as tough as the Easter bunny.

    Locker is just unlucky it appears. Twice now he has looked good and gotten injured on flagrant hits by the D...last year he looked good for several games and then the Jets put him down on a very, very late hit...yesterday he looked good again and yet another late hit by the d. Some people have just bad luck...jake appears to be one of those people. Mett time. And as a Titan fan I have watched year after year, QB after QB of ours get hammered by D's and no protection from the refs. McNair(God rest his Soul) would get hammered and no flag, pushed out of bounds into the carts on the sideline and no flag...mean time panty boy only has to ask for a flag from the ref and he gets it....same for brady. NFL sucks....sort of looking forward to it making itself irrelevant...like baseball did....give me more time to ride....Like I need a reason.
