Even during the 13-3 seasons, fans here complained about the lack of entertainment when the Titans would win games by a score of 12-9.

    Good point, dammit.

I guess I would like to see more balance. I get the reasons to abandon the run when the team is down by 14 but not when up by 14.

No. What most were clamoring for was balance. We appear to have gone from one extreme to the other.

The glaring hole in your argument if Manning, Brees, Luck, Kaep and Brady did what they had to do when it counted for their team to win the game. In crunch time CBJ had happy feet in the pocket, was indecisive and so scared to make a decision that he made no decision, took two DRIVE KILLING sacks and ran the clock out on himself with poor passes.

Say what you want about stats and QB Rating, they don't win games. Brees threw 3 INTs but he also did enough to win the game. Manning has thrown 500 TDs and lost the SB in a blowout with the best receiving core in the history of the NFL. Brady won 3 super bowls with Troy Brown as his #1 receiver, lost one SB on a crucial drop that hit Welker in the hands, and another on one of the most infamous plays in NFL history where by this generations standards (and our 4th an 1 play's standards) the quarterback should have been whisltled down about 5 times before throwing a miracle pass.

Stats don't win games, whipping them out in this argument is irrelevant.

We are really going to have to bring our F game next week.

I got off work about 2:30 yesterday. Went and had pizza. They had the game on... I watched the fourth quarter, and found myself laughing. This franchise is a freaking dumpster fire.

    Spoiler alert:

We're going to lose. Winless teams are the bane of our existence. Well, now any team is the bane of our existence, but especially winless teams, or teams with really bad losing streaks.

I mean, not only are we 0-3 against winless teams (5 losses or more), IIRC we gave Orvlosky his first career win as a starter.

Seriously, **** this team. Every mother****er associated with this pile of trash should be greeting people at Wal-Mart right now. And I apologize to any proud Wal-Mart greeters I may have offended.

a dude with no hands was handling my groceries like a champ at Walmart today. I am pretty sure it was Nate Washington who could not get thru the blue rinse crowd and into the store. Just could not get thru their coverage of the door

Did you see the post game press conference with Locker........

Was he going to go fishing or potato digging after the game with the flannel shirt and backwards cap?

No class, poise or character of leadership.

I actually agreed w/ the call to go for it. Our defense was worn out at that point, and our best chance of winning seemed to be to keep the ball and run clock. I can completely understand going for it on 4th down in that situation. Obviously, you'd hope we'd have a more effective 4th down play.
