I can't believe it either....thats a defensive players dream to be able to blow up the QB on a legal play.

Dalton's lucky that it was BWW and not Pollard because it would have been ugly.....his red hair would have turned white afterwards.

Yeah Dalton should have died there or that should have been a pick six.

There is a reason we resigned Pollard in the off season to start at safety for us. If stafford was anything special we wouldn't have resigned Pollard.

I know he get the penalty (which is kinda bs because everyone does that), but Huff has looked great to me.

Did you catch any of the preseason games? Stafford was constantly around the football when given the chance to play. Pollard is constantly behind the receiver. Only reason I wasn't all gung-ho for Stafford before was because Pollard had a productive season last year, and raised the bar a bit for the whole defense, but it was night and day when Stafford came in. Much higher motor.

The one thing we've lacked on D this season is a guy who is everywhere at once like Polomolu used to be. That type of player (not saying Stafford is that guy yet) could do wonders for us. We know Pollard wasn't that type, so why not try out the next guy who showed flashes of it 6 weeks ago.

I would like to see Stafford on the field as he is definitely more athletic and faster than Pollard. Pollard was more of a vocal leader and a big hitter and not known for his cover skills. He is on the decline, but lets see what this kid has.....maybe another Vaccaro???

Horton may go with Wilson though so we may have to wait and see who starts at SS this week.
