Why wouldn't he go to another AFC South team? He was an unrestricted FA, he could have picked any one of the 6 or 7 teams that showed serious interest.

Are you claiming he was trying to avoid playing the Colts twice?

Not avoid because he was afraid or anything. More as a sign of respect for the organization. That's just my opinion, though. No facts to back it up. I don't believe he's ever spoken on it.

Zach Brown was a starter in the 43 he was drafted for. Victim of friendly fire and hopefully everyone moves on early during offseason

Chance Warmack is the least of the Titan OL issues. Started every game in NFL.

Zaviar Gooden was a third round pick and already has more tackles and assists than in all of 13, but yeah he might not be the best but he was a day 2 pick.

IMO the move to Wizenhunt and Hortons 34 give everyone, including Webster, more time. It is unfair to blame RW for CURRENT defensive front 7 issues. But this time next year I do not want to hear 'conversion' excuses even though I accept them as vaild at this time.

What I can recall was it was being reported he preferred not to go into the NFC, so IMO that left open TN, KC, MIA, and any other AFC team interested. But we'll never really know I guess.

If the best thing you can say about Zach Brown and Chance Warmack is that they are starters, that's a huge problem.

You may actually be right, but I can't bring myself to believe that VY would have even taken any team to a SB. He had numerous chances with other teams such as GB, that have great coaching. He was just too mentally fractured to do anything with his chances. His weak mental ability did not come out as a result of playing for Fisher. It was there all along.

I did like VY's athletic ability though.

Webster is the GM. Any lack of talent issue is his fault. He has had 3 seasons to bring a legitimate pass rush to this team and has failed miserably to even address the problem. He has looked past good pass rushers in the draft to select other players. How can you not blame the lack of a pass rush on RW?? I just want to understand your thinking. I am not bashing your opinion. Just want to understand it better.

I think they had a good shot at a Super Bowl in a few years, with time and the right system. VY had them in the Playoffs in '06. But, he was mentally immature. That is where Time and McNair could've really helped him. Plus, he really had a lot of respect for McNair. Paying McNair would have paid tremendous dividends, if the FO had the foresight to mentor their no. 3 pick in the draft.

After VY left, he's mental state was shot. He was through then.

I want to smack Roy Williams to this day for what he did to Tyrone Calico. I think Tyrone could have been pretty good. Impossible to come back from both knees getting blown out on one play.
