Damn straight. Things can change quick in the NFL.

But we need a whole ****ton of step up. No chance we have it.

In the end, it's less about when you pick and about who you pick. Sure the extra options are nice, but what does it matter as we have seen plenty of all pro players taken after our selections.

without Lewan we'd be in trouble now. That guy looks like the real deal, I was hating a little on the pick. I mean he looks like a monster out there. How was Stafford? I was half sleep while watching.

I liked the Lewan pick, and I backed it many times on here. Wright hasn't been great as a #1 pick IMO...I like him, but he isn't a game changer...At least not on this team, and that's what you expect out of a #1.

I jus aint sure if whiz likes him as a player or thinks he doesn't fit his system or what. But I definately think somethings not working there. And if he continues to not be involved wed get more value now than at years end. We need draft picks. Gotta take at least 4 qbs this year.

Beating Houston to get to 4-4 would be significant for guys we'd keep next year. But there aren't that many (if any) of the contract year guys that will stick after this year. And we have to win 2 in a row.

We were lucky to win today. The block kick was nice, but once again it never should have even been a possibility to lose. This team just can't put opponents away. The likelihood this team improves enough to be play-off legit is near zero.

I still prefer playing the long game based off what I saw today. Our D has SO many needs.

Lewan, BWW, Stafford, Williamson, Sankey, we're all bright spots today that played well against a crappy albeit feisty Jags team. I'd like to see Mett in there now rather than Locker.

Wright is a great WR, but without a good Qb to throw to him he will not be able to show up as much. He posted over 1000yds last yr on the Titans! That is a rare thing for this team. We rarely have 1000yd WRs. Mostly due to sorry QB & Oline play. The kid can get it done. He hasn't had a stellar season this year, but he hasn't had a good QB to throw to him either. I think we should find more ways to get Wright, McCluster, and Sankey involved in the passing game. Be it screens, short dumps, or trick plays. All 3 of those guys are fast, elusive, and have high motors.

Oh yea, I LOVED seeing Klug as a FB!!
