QB situation now

Locker has good games and bad games, then he has his expected injury between. The problem is he is not consistent or consistently available to play. Why we (The Team) continues to act as if he can be a franchise QB is beyond me. To be a franchise QB you have to be able to consistently stay on the field. He cannot. This experiment should be over. I am not saying that Mett will save the season. I highly doubt it. No one can possibly know that. We have not seen him play one regular season game. I do want to know BEFORE the season is over what he has. We have so many holes to fill in the offseason we need to know if Mett can be a stable starter, back up, or just another scrub.

 

Whitehurst is playing well there is no damn reason to sit him. He might be our starting QB the rest of the year and next.

 

Wow one good game... face it he is not a franchise QB not by a long shot. Honestly what makes you think Jake Locker is? Please help me understand. If Locker had a injury free career yall would've been calling for his head.

 

If they go into next season with CBJ as the starting QB, I am f*****g done. If they can't come up with a better plan than CBJ, they are the most incompetent team in North American sports.

seriously CBJ missed - overthrew over the middle - a wide open target in the second half. If it was Locker there would be multiple videos breaking the play down ect...

Whitehurst is like horseradish, a little goes a long way. CBJ was signed to ride the pine and ask good questions in the meeting room, not play on sundays.

CBJ absolutely should be starting (since Mett ain't happening at this point). Locker experiment = Over. Done. Fin.

CBJ has clearly shown to be much more accurate as well as more competent running the offense. Yes there are times he looks overwhelmed. But we have to keep in mind he hasn't even started back-to-back games yet. Give him a chance to settle down and get in a rhythm.

Time to face reality. Jake no longer gives us the best chance to win. One Sunday a month he might. The other 3 he will kill you or be watching from the sideline.

 

So he had a decent game before he got hurt what is your point? Find the exception and portray it as the rule. He's not a good QB, he's injury prone, and he is not our future so lets move on.

 

Good god if Whitehurst starts next year I won't be watching.
