To the person I offer the ticket to.

Usually the conversation goes like this, "Hey Buddy. I'm sorry to insult you like this. But I have an extra ticket to the Titans game and am inviting you to join me. No no, you are my friend, really, I know this isn't a nice gesture, it's just you know, the ticket is sitting here and I thought of you... Okay okay I'll never call you again."

 

Haha. But you see some of us are really fans. Thick or thin. So My wife and I would like to go to game if possible. Thanks . Go Titans!!

Yeah this hits a little close to home for me too. It's so awful when I send out a big group text or GroupMe message saying I've got an extra ticket and then it's nothing but crickets, whereas back in the day my friends would fight each other over them. I've had to take my Nashville ex to two games this year...

People just do not understand, who live way outside the area. It seems like nonsense to them, but in reality, It's pretty commonplace when the Titans field a bad team,

and for good reason.

If not for the excellent people at the GoTitans tailgate, I wouldn't be caught redhanded at more than 1 or 2 Titans games per year, in years like this.

It's pretty real sad when the games aren't worth the drive and time commitment to most people.

When bad football is being played, out in the elements, it's a real soul-sucker. More than other sports. The LP field experience is simply if the football is bad.. you will not have a good time. Luckily the 1 game at LP field I get to/wanted to go to was a win last week.

There have been a couple games in the past where I just wished I'd watched at the local watering hole in town, for free.

Titans (the team) need to step their game up, because their pregame/in-game stuff is not enough to make it entertaining without it.

 

Understand. But we don't get to go very much, so would be fun. But understand where you are coming from.
