Suck for the Duck??

I'm on board for Mariota if we're in a position to draft him. However, I think we'll probably end up picking 8-12, just like always, and he'll be gone. In that case put me down for Bryce Petty. I have a hard time believing he'll be a 2nd round pick as some have stated on here. Think we'll have to take him with our first if we want him.

Perfect scenario IMO: Take a defensive stud with our 8-12 pick (Fowler, or top CB), then pick up Petty in the second.

 

At this point I see us picking top five. There is little hope this team can do much of anything.

 

I will always advocate trading down to acquire more draft picks, especially if we get a top 5 pick. I'm not sold on drafting a QB in the top 10 this year.

Unless there is a stud pass-rusher sitting there I want us to move down. Cody Prewitt FS/SS would be a nice addition in the middle of the 1st, might even be a top 10 pick come draft time.

2. Insert QB
2. McKinney OLB/ILB Mississippi state (trade down)
