I'm more worried by the fact that he hasn't faced adversity, outside of what he caused, in the NCAA.

He gets compared to VY simply because of this. He has had a head coach, an entire team, a school, and a police department basically cover his ass the entire time he was there.

I also believe that FSU is the new USC.

Everyone wants to talk about Mariota being a system but ignore the last two QBs out of FSU have been first round QBs and not since lost their starting jobs. Winston just strikes me as being just more naturally talented than the other two.

Winston reminds me more of Lawrence Phillips than any QB bust. Phillips also was a great college player and a horrible human being who was recently sentenced to 31 years in prison.

Another comparison would be Christian Peter the Nebraska player who raped a student and got away with it. The patriots took him in the 5th rd and then balked after another run in with the law and never signed him.

I was the first one to tell anyone who listened that neither of those guys should have been first rounds picks.

Ponder was laughable at FSU. Never once flashed first round potential. The Vikings took him because they needed a QB and everyone in front of them selected one.

Manuel I could understand to an extent given that QB class. He looks the part as far size, versatility and arm strength, but god damn it that guy would just consistently make the losing play. He was the reason FSU wasn't in the NCG in 2012. Score 0 points in the second half against NC State(takes an awful sack on 3rd and 2 while in FG range and forces a punt because he ran backwards seven yards. Lost by 1). And apparently he just thought he played for UF with three INTs and two fumbles. He was also afraid to throw the ball down the field. **** that guy.

I haven't sat down and watched Winston play outside of being a fan on game days, but he has way more talent than both of those guys combined.

Just based on highlight reals I still think Moriata looks better, but obviously this can't be how you evaluate a QB.

I wish there was an easier, time efficient way.

I don't see us taking Winston... let's remember that Whis is the coach. I don't see Winston running Whis's style of offense.

How about we wait and close a file on Zach first before we go off half-cocked?
