I believe he could still be developed (if he stays healthy)[/QUOTE]

I couldn't agree with you more.....unfortunatley it won't be with the Titans. He got his fair share of chances here. He got hurt last year after starting the season strong and having the best game of his life against the Jets....this year it seemed he was going to tear the Brownies apart and was on a mission but it was DeJaVu all over again.

That's not what I am saying at all. I even said that the argument made around Jake not having talent was a valid hypothesis ... but it has since been proven to be untrue

I also said that the argument that Mett was only better because he was surrounded by talent was a valid hypothesis at this point ... we will find out soon enough if that is true or not though. Jury is still out on that one.

But the point of this thread was to point out that there isn't much difference between our 1st rd QB and our 6th rd QB as many like to think

So I should pick and choose your sentences because you are not comparing college only?

Now let's look at this talent, we brought in.

A second round rookie who is looking like he can't hack it.

A rookie running back who saw minimal snaps with Jake.

A stuttering running game his entire time here.

    And Wright and Walker.

Just tons and tons of talent. And let's not even get into coaching staff.

3 strikes and you're out, Jake got his 3 years as a starter and every time left us wanting more out of him, his time as the starter is over as it should be

You can't do that effectively with only stats.

I wont even lie, watching the 2 is night and day.

The thing about jake that won me over was his demeanor. After judging him on his play alone I was like ok good, but... Then i caught a bunch of interviews and was like if Im trusting any of these QB's its that Locker kid.

Mett was the opposite, you look at him and reach to see if your wallet is still there, but his football skills are very good, so if you want to win games he's the guy.

Metts biggest downfall is how long he holds on to the ball. We could see a nasty game Sunday.

thats really the only flaw tho
Jake even on his best days have 2 or 3 issues going on, and that sometimes didn't stop him, other times it killed him.

Im not that worried about Mett holding the ball too long, but we'll see soon enough
