Titans vs Texans: Postgame Talk

Is it just me or is just the Titans O line that gets penalised for everything?
Watch the Fitz pass out of the end zone on 3rd and 8 in the 3rd Qtr a Texans lineman puts his hands right in the face of Avery Williamson. No call though,this seems to happen a lot.

 

In no way am I trying to say he is good. He was just the hotter hand out of the backfield today.

 

I feel everyone who is complaining about the offense and how vanilla it is. Remember that Whiz explained that he had to streamline his offense just so our guys could get it. We don't need guys that have to have the offense watered down and spoon fed to them. We need players that study their play books and know most if not all of the play book, and then EXECUTE it! We seriously don't have that.

 

Browns 2013 record 4-12 hired Mike Pettine currently 3-3 with a win over the titans 29-28
Redskins 2013 record 3-13 hired Jay Gruden currently 2-5 with a win over the titans 19-17
Texans 2013 record 2-14 hired Bill OBrien currently 4-4 with a win over the titans 30-16
Titans 2013 record 7-9 hired Ken Whisenhunt currently 2-6

- Coach Whiz is 0-3 against teams with first year coaches with teams that had a worse record in 2013
- Of the teams that we have played with first year coaches, they are all on pace to exceed their win total from 2013
- the titans are on pace for a 4-12 season - three games worse than last year.

 

Metts numbers improved when the Texans were up and giving up short routes. He did hit a couple of long routes, but the coverage was much softer than the first half.

 

if Whiz would get a real offensive coordinator and stop trying to do two jobs at once we might get two wins in a row someday

 

I alluded to that in a previous post. But his accuracy was the way better in the second half.

 

A little good news. Pittsburgh is smacking around the Colts. Lol
