I'm sure many are complaining about Mett.

But find me the last rookie QB to go 27/41 for 299 yards, 2 TDs in their first start.

None of the current rookies put up numbers like that in their first starts. I know that for sure.

Mett also got a lot of that with the D playing soft in garbage time.

I take it you was at the game. How do you feel about Mett. How did others at the game feel about him??

It looked like a lot of his throws in the first half was off, bad timing. The couple deep balls I seen, it looked like it was more "check out my rocket arm" and not so much of a touch.

But, it was his first career start, so I'm still not sure if he can be the one.

I though he was throwing high and maybe late in the patterns...also staring them down...they were getting killed a few times.

But...hard to tell how any of our receivers are given the fact they cannot get open....

Yea and a lot of rookies do the same and get high praise for it in their first starts as well.

Without garbage time he was probably at about 225 yards and 1 TD. Still not bad.

Metts looked like I expected he would... but anyone overly criticizing him on his first start is being ridiculous... The receiving core is one of worst I have ever seen, and the O line is just dismal

I'm not sure how anyone can hate on that first performance by Mett...Considering how terrible this team is all around, he showed more patience and maturity than both CBJ or Locker. Man, we need a complete overhaul!!! I don't even know where to begin

He looked like a rookie QB on a crappy team. Held on to the ball too long, IMO. Part of that was due to no separation. Stared down receivers. He had no run support so Watt & Co was teeing off or he was in second or third and long too often.

I honestly got what I expected from Mett. What I didn't expect was how pathetic everyone else was.

I've been a fan since the beginning and that performance today ranks up there with one of the worst I've seen. This team has no heart. They're fundamentally bad on so many levels. I'd be shocked to see more than one more win this season unless Whiz finds some answers during the bye.

They currently need every position on Offense, and a great amount on D. I really wish they had an additional few early round picks heading into 2015.
