And all I'm saying is I told you guys before they were drafted, FSU players included, that they were totally average college players who were over drafted because of need by NFL teams.

Winston is different. He's better than Ponder in every way. Better arm strength by a mile. Better accuracy. Better stature.

Better intangibles than Manuel without a doubt.

Winston has total control at the line of scrimmage. Neither of the other two had it to that extent.

He might bust, but I knew those other two were crap.

 

I'm not arguing that he isn't better than those guys, I'm arguing that Jimbo does more for QBs in his system than most people are willing to admit.

 

Based on what though? His other guys have put up above average-good numbers in college. It's not like noodle-armed Matt Leinart throwing almost 35 TDs a season.

It's on the scouts and GM to determine whether a guy should be gambled on in the first round, but the Ponder and Manuel cases were evaluations that were kicked because of need and a hope that they work out. That's not on Fisher or the players, it's the organizations.

We did it ourselves with Locker. A guy with accuracy and durability issues gets selected at 8 because of the hope that it would work out. That's not UW's coaching staff's fault, it's the Titan's fault.

 

If you take everything crappy about VY with everything crappy about Cam and put them together, you get Jameis Winston. He is a POS that if drafted will cause me to quit watching this team.

 

More like Big Ben than anybody yeah that's even including the rape allegations sign me up for a few years of good QB intangibles like leadership, ability to read defenses and throw a guy open, and fearlessness you know willing to take a hit to throw a first down and wait for it...... Actual good QB skills like accuracy, arm strength, enough mobility to avoid the rush.

I don't care if he has an orgy every night like Caligula. I'm sick of QB questions, Locker can't hit anybody under 8 feet tall, VY couldn't stand to be yelled at by a coach or the fans. One thing Winston has is the ability to play under pressure he may be an actual retard but he is like Rainman on the field. Blitz him or let him get behind and his accuracy goes up.

Marriota throws slip screens to wide open guys I'm sure as **** tired of seeing those types of passes from our quarterbacks Kendall Wright is going to die on the field from one of those. But hey he is good at throwing them so maybe we can get a ****ing first down in the 1st Quarter next year.
