Webster is not terrible at free agency. Before Ruston Webster who had the Titans ever lured to TN in FA that made any kind of impact?

    Theres;
Nate Washington in 2009, he's panned out alright.
Alge Crumpler in 2008, his most memorable moments were a season ending fumble vs Baltimore.
Nick Harper in 2007, he only went on to suck.

Chris Hope in 2006 may have been our best FA signing ever, how sad....

We dont have a Webster problem, we have a Titans problem.

    Levitre.

    Oher.

    Wimbley.

    Fitzpatrick.

    Greene.

Such great signings! And all paid appropriate amounts! And I'm not leaving out all the good ones. There are literally no impact players that this team has acquired via free agency since Webster took over.

I urge you to look back through the free agency periods under Webster and reevaluate your position. They are awful. http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/freeagency/?year=2012&team=10&type=-1

At the time they were all heavily pursued free agents. Levitre has always been average, we were just that desperate we over paid him.

Oher signing Im on your side with.

Wimbley was what you got when the owner started the Peyton chase. Blame Bud on that one.

Fitz was a good back-up, sucks he had to play as often as he did, but still a good signing.

And Greene was only overpaid after 2013 when the RB market bottomed out.

All those names were way overpaid by Webster.

You seem to be arguing that because Webster convinced them to come to Tennessee that that's somehow a good thing.

Overpaying free agents (especially bad ones, like all the names above) is not a good thing. That should be self-evident.

Should have offered up more money for Jared Veldheer 5 year 35 million contract with 10.5 guaranteed.

If a GM seeks out the premire FA's and signs them, he's done his job.

If said players turn out to suck, its on players and coaches.

These guys were all thought to be top shelf players by not just Webster but by many teams.

What the hell? I honestly can't tell if you're joking.

If you sign bad players, there's not a thing the coaches can do to fix it. If you pay them way more than they are worth, that's on the GM, not the coach. Every single person knows this except maybe you (again, are you joking?).

The good GMs don't sign bad players like Oher and Greene. They certainly don't pay them millions more than they are worth.

That's all I'm gonna write because you are so out in left field there's no point continuing. Everyone else here can see the reality of the situation.

As bad as Levitre has been he's still 10x the player Amano and Turner were, GM's job is to improve the team, Webster did in fact make us better with all these signings.
