yep. But it's about how you end up, more than how you come in. Lotta guys come in hot, then flame out very quickly.

Mett was far more pro ready then Big Ben coming into the NFL. It all depends on if Mett can improve and continue to grow.

Ben had the team around him to succeed.
Mett doesn't have a whole lot to work with.

Our defense is coming together. If only Griffin could stop sucking 90% of the time maybe they could get Mett the ball back more.

Ben had a much much better team to work with than Mett does today, but good QB play can hide all of that if Mett figures this out quickly.

Lmao both 6 5 240 and #7.... I think big Ben closer to 300 than 240. He easily looks twice as thick as mett.

Well, I like to be optimistic about Mett. He has all the tools to be an NFL QB (arm strength, accuracy, etc). If he has a good understanding as the game as well, then maybe he will turn out to be our franchise QB.

I'm sure he will still need time to settle in, get used to the speed of the game, and build chemistry with his WRs. That won't come overnight, and as others have mentioned, Mett doesn't have a lot to work with ... Its true that a good QB can hide the team's flaws, but its also true that a good team can hide a QB's flaws.

Mett is not a good team, so expect his flaws to be on full display. That doesn't mean he isn't a good QB, just means that he has an up hill battle to prove it.
