This is a Michael Griffin I can respect

Griffin has had some great plays this year, but has looked terrible in others. Too inconsistent at this point like Locker.

We just need to transition McCourty over to free safety.....he will play better there. Or put the Huff there.....he did play some safety in college.

Was looking through the Titans app and they did their mid-season awards. Jurrell is the defensive MVP. But everyone's favorite safety got an honorable mention.

For a guy who gets bashed as a terrible tackler, I was surprised to see he leads the team in tackles and is second in sacks.

 

To me that's a sign of just how bad our defense is when that puss leads in tackles. He has played well in many aspects but he is still a puss. We suck again!

 

The apologist is productive but its all yard sale crap that nobody wants.

 

I know stats don't tell the whole story & I'm by no means saying Griffin is all pro or anything.

But I do agree that does show how bad the defense is. What a shame, we have a safety who has to make a tackle when a running back is already 4-5 yards down field because the front seven is always getting manhandled. Or the fact that he he has been better getting to the QB than a 1st round pick, and FA signee who got paid decently a couple years ago, and a former pro bowl player.

I just don't think Griffin is the weakest link on the defense like a lot of people on this board do. I do wish he was more consistent though.
