I could see Roos moving to RT for a year or two, but I think that a move to guard is a real stretch. Either way interior line will remain a need during the offseason....for what, the 3rd or 4th straight offseason now?

I said that on page one, but he won't reply because he is wrong. Left tackles are perfectly capable of playing right tackle.

There should be a thread to discuss reasons for re-signing Roos.

Yes, that is the exact idea. We cannot turn over the whole roster in one offseason. And I too think Roos would be better than Oher.

Sorry if 1 example more than 20 years ago doesn't persuade me that it's easy to flip tackles.

You asked for an example. More like 15 years ago. And FTR, I don't think Roos is worth re-signing, period. Not for left tackle or right tackle.

You mean outside of the fact that it happens all the time. Oher was drafted as a LT and is now a RT.

The Steelers did it last year.

Tyron Smith and Lane Johnson did it.

Their is literally no difference with the exception of the fact that the left side 'typically' plays against the better pass rushers.

We aren't talking about Gooden going to safety, or Klug playing MLB, you are talking about a LT switching to RT, hardly any difference and the job is 90% the same.

    Yeah. This isn't rocket science.
