I don't like resigning Roos honestly, unless it's for depth and cheap. His knee was jacked, and we are years away from being competitive. How much is he going to be motivated to play in TN anyway?!

The Ravens tried to move Oher to LT but quickly had to move him back again and sign Bryant McKinnie to replace him at LT. Not a good argument for your case.

Tyron Smith, Lane Johnson, Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher are all young players being asked to switch (Joeckel and Fisher have both been switched back to their "natural" position of LT I believe). The drop off in performance at that stage is negligible. Not so when you talk about veterans who've played the same position for years. If you think that doesn't matter, I don't know what to tell you... How many of you write equally well with both hands?

Oher started out at the right tackle position in college. He became an all american once SWITCHING to left tackle. He did not have the talent to play left tackle in the NFL so he was SWITCHED to right tackle.

Despite being good enough in college, he is not good enough in the NFL to play left tackle. As I said earlier, a good left tackle can play the right tackle spot with no drop off in play.

I actually think this is a great idea, I've been thinking about it recently too. Oher obviously isn't the answer and we really need to use the first pick on defense
