More time? You've been clamorng for more time for the past 5 years, during reinfeldt during Munchak, during, Locker, during Bruce Matthews as OL coach and a host of other obvious sub-par performances. You come off as a calm sage but really you lack the skill of an eyeball test. Ive known we sucked since he Cowboys game. But I think you were preaching "more time" then as well.

I'm just happy to hear the Super Bowl is just two seasons away.
That's change I can believe in!

Honestly, I just see people being unrealistic. We have a new owner who basically stated he would write whatever checks it could. He said he expects super bowl by 2017. He said it doesn't matter how much they are making, sit them if they are not performing.

Also, I realized this season was over in the second game when I first realized that Locker doesn't have the skills. This entire season was, and has been about Locker. Now his future us decided. The problem is that the fan case has forgotten that fact as games went on. Those who are late to the party, were being overly optimistic.

Expecting Tommy to turn this around in half a season, where the QB of the team is now a 6th round rookie, with a crap line, zero game changers on offense, and a new everything is unreasonable.

Franchises don't become perennial contenders overnight. We have new everything. Wanting to jump ship already is something I honestly don't grasp. I believe it's all knee jerk reactions by pissed off fans

Also don't forget, this is what everyone wanted. There were just a handful of people saying we had talent problem but everyone wanted to blow it up.

Well, kaboom. Grass isn't always greener.

Now all of you are going to have to wait, because that's how things really work. We have been a bad team for a decade. This wasn't getting turned around in any other scenario than if Locker had became the franchise QB. Even then, we would have still needed more talent. He's had half a year with the team.

Some have also been complaining about how the organization is run for years. Other franchises have turned things around after a season or two. But the Titans have np been at it since McNair left save one fluke season where we were one and done in 08. That's almost nine out of ten years we've tried to "get it right".

We are where we are because of ownership backing incompetent GMs and coaches. I agree it's too early to assess Whiz- but there is no doubt Webster has had AMPLE time to stock this team with talent. And he has failed miserably.

I, and many others, pay a lot of money for season tix. I don't even go to the games any more because winning at home has become a rarity. And quality wins non-existent. people talking about loyalty and "jumping ship" doesn't mean anything to me because I've put my money into the Titans for years and continued to do so after each disappointing season under the hope of "more time " will get things fixed.

So forgive me if I seem a bit vitriolic when reacting to "more time". I've put in enough time, energy, and money to EXPECT things to get fixed quickly. It DOES happen with other franchises.

And Tommy Smith is a dopey ostrich not to see that Webster is both responsible for our current dearth of talent and has shown nothing to assure he is capable to correct it.

I did see good things yesterday . Two long drives to start the game . How one it's been since we gave seen that. Mett got drilled into the ground got up and came back and made the throw. Locker or whitehurst woud not do that. That's progress. Small steps but steps.

The flip side of that is...most of the coaches who get roster control get it because they are Good-Great coaches already so they get the most of their rosters. A lot of times those guys mess up the draft in that they choose not the best players. For all of belicheck's fantastic wheeling and dealing in the draft to get more picks than anyone, they have had a lack of talent issue over there except for that Hall of Fame QB. Scott Pioli was their GM before he left and Bill got all the control, but he is such a good coach (and having a Hall of Famer at QB doesn't hurt) that they have made due. But they haven't been able to win the big one since Bill really took full control and the previously drafted players left.

I don't think we are that far off but it will feel that way until we have a QB. Mett has been inconsistent and we'll see what he does down the stretch. There are some big IF's with the QB's available in round 1 of the draft (though Tommy will push hard for Winston if he wants to win now). Available free agents MIGHT be Hoyer and maybe we can trade for a Glennon if the Browns will go to Manziel and TB wants a new QB. None of these players gives me 100% confidence we'd have our QB so it will be an issue until it isn't.

Nah, Levitre makes at least 2 plays/game. They may be penalties, but you didn't specify "good" plays lol. He honestly needs to go away, he is absolutely a train wreck. Warmack is young, I'm willing to give him time, but they need to cute Levitre.
