    You can't deflect responsibility.

Depends on how you define responsibility.

After all, the word blame is used to define the word responsibility, semantically speaking.

You can be be responsible for something that you have no fault or blame for that event occurring. That is a common element of being a professional, hence my original comment.

Understand there will be some difference in the type of players...say taller more possession type WR's vs say short and quicker. The QUALITY of the players is on the GM, not the coaches. And for the most part, our players fit his system. Sure you will have a Derrick Morgan who is better suited for a 4-3 DE spot, but he has played well...especially in run support and coverage. The part that is NOT different (pass rushing) is what he hasn't done well with. Both that has nothing to do with scheme.

So again, somehow people are making excuses for Webster's responsibility and blaming an old coach who doesn't. Blame Munch for the stuff Munch controls. The draft ain't one of 'em!

You can have the best scouting departmtne in the NFL, but if the GM takes a QB a round early...can you blame the scouts? Again, they don't make the picks and without seeing the board, Webster is the only one we KNOW is responsible.

Gut, I know that with all the effort you put into your posts what with; the lengthy paragraphs and extensive attempt to create multiple argument threads, that this is hard to believe that I still don't agree with you.

I never will, either. I just fundamentally disagree with your mind set. That is OK, too. Just like it is OK that you disagree with mine.

To me you're wrong, and I don't see the point in continuing to argue with someone who is as stubborn as me. Because I know the trait so intimately, I'm going to save myself hours of reading and writing. :)

Some one should find Tommy Smith's Twitter and post it. We should bombard the guy with FIRE WEBSTER! Not that it will make a difference, but it will make his life a bit more irritating as watching the Titans has been to the fans this year.

Webster has been here for a while and has done nothing to improve the team. Whiz just walked into this mess.

Get rid of Webster and give Whiz another couple of years to get this sh*t right.

Not only has Webster done nothing to improve the team, it's gotten considerably worse. He's been with organization since 2010 as VP of Player Personnel. We have gone down the ****ter since then.

One building block-type of player drafted in that time. Two good FA signings in that time, counting Hasselback as one of them.

    A truly pathetic resume.
