Is Whisenhunt the problem?

I mean, really? we are 2-8 for a reason. I'm shocked how upset people are at our 8th loss this season.

 

I'm shocked that we are a 2-8 team period.

Last season we killed ourselves on special teams and had a turnover machine as a QB. We had Munchak as HC and Loggians as OC. We STILL won 7 games with relatively the same roster.

There is no excuse for this sh*t.

 

Yes, that is pretty scary. But that is what happens when the owner doesn't know squat and the GM hires coaches he 'feels comfortable' with. And when the other team adjusts to what your plays, don't you in turn readjust?

 

Whiz has not shown he has any potential to help this franchise longterm through 10 games. Regardless, next year is more important IMO. It's pretty obvious this team may at most get only 1 or more wins. The thing to look for next year is improvement. If there is little improvement next year, then Whiz is on the hot seat year 3.

 

Jeff Fisher brought this team to a Super Bowl and multiple playoffs. He was also behind a team that only had 4 wins for the whole season.

Did you ever stop and think that maybe Munch drove this team into the ground and Whiz inherited a horrible team?

I don't think so though.. our personnel is not that bad. They managed to win 7 games with mediocre coaching. Now, they have 2 wins.

What changed? The only productive player we lost was Verner. We're arguably better off with Sankey over CJ. Our WRs are one year better and Walker is playing better than ever. We have better stability at ILB, and the D-line is also playing better.

Our roster hasn't changed for the worse, so the slack must be on the coaching. We've had an easier schedule, too.

 

Time for Jason Michael to get a crack at play calling.

 

All I can say about Whiz is that I'm positive he will never take the Titans to a Super Bowl.

 

Going to take a TON of talent to make this team worth anything with Whis on board.

He simply doesn't coach to his team's strengths. That and he's terrible at game management.
