I agree we need to run more, but he's his own worst enemy. If he doesn't get the yards we need on early downs, it put us in passing situations an decreases his carries.

Yep. A lot easier to get more carries when you can sustain drives. Hard to give anybody a bunch of carries when none of them can move the chains.

What are you talking about? What does week one have to do with anything? I saw our team improving and a lot of promise from our rookie left tackle, running back, and quarterback.

Liked what I saw from all the rookies last night. Williamson looks like he has been a great find.

Honesly, even if we didn't convert on 4th down, we probably would've been in a better position. The Steelers would've had a much shorter field and wouldn't have wasted so much time running the ball down the field.

They would've ran it down our throats and scored a FG or TD (honestly they had been struggling in the RZ, so we could've held them to a FG possibly) ... then we would've got the ball back with time left to try and score.

Since we punted, we gave them plenty of field to use to run the clock out with like 7 minutes left lol.

It was dang cold but, even with the Steeler fans everywhere, the game was one of the more entertaining I'd attended at LP Field for some time. Those Steeler fans were very quiet from the middle of the first quarter to the middle of the fourth.

We saw the return of the Pain Train and some other classics with a twist on the jumbotrons.

What made the game enjoyable was that the Titans finally made a few plays and looked, in spurts, like a team who could compete. They didn't finish and there are some glaring issues but, overall, I left feeling like the team, as a whole, was moving in the right direction.

I actually felt better last night leaving the stadium than I did after winning vs. the Jags.

I thought Mett bounced back well after the INT. He has his issues. He missed some easy passes. He didn't check out of some plays he should have. But I'm convinced he's showing improvement which is all we can ask for. Whether he's the long-term solution won't be known, IMO, until the end of the season.

I'm loving me some Coffman. That was some Gronk-looking stuff he did out there to pull in that TD over three defenders. Mett put the ball the only place he could have.

He struggled in his past 2 games, but dang sure made up for it on MNF. He had patience and burst after lanes opened. The real issue to me is that every time we meet a guy like Bell we get gashed. Saw him having a good game. Seems like guys like him and Foster give us fits. Our run D has not been good all year though.
