Snow belt. Anyone just to the east of one of the great lakes is in a snow belt. The prevailing winds blow from the west and blow the moisture over the lake which falls as snow just to the east of the lake. In Ontario places like Huron and Bruce country which are to the east of Lake Huron are in a snow belt too.

That's why I said "pretty much." Believe it or not, I've heard of the Astrodome.

Here's a crazy idea for you: A domed stadium in Buffalo would need to be built to be capable of withstanding thousands of tons of snow. At the time they built Ralph Wilson Stadium, that wasn't possible.

We can keep doing this if you want. I can keep shooting down every dumb thing you post. Just let me know.

LOL ...All I did was disprove everything you said with real facts. Yet what I said is 'dumb' haha

But OK smart ass ... just let me disprove you again

What about Olympic stadium? the broke ground in 1973 to build it in Montreal, Quebec (that's in CANADA if you didn't know ... pretty sure they get snow there)

It is a domed stadium and can seat 70,000+ people ... so yes it was in fact 'possible'

OR how about the Pontiac Silver dome (Detroit, Again pretty sure they get snow there too) ... built in 1973 and held 82000.

Also, lets say that it wasn't possible back in the 1970's (as you claim) ... don't you think in the 40+ years it has been around they could've added a roof to it? (other stadiums have done that)

Its okay Nancy. Get your panties in a wad over something I was joking around about in the 1st place anyway

Here is the truth ... The Bills purchased that land because it was cheap. It was cheap because of the amount of snowfall that area got. The Bills knew this, but still didn't want to invest in a domed stadium, because they are cheap.

Not because it wasn't possible, not because no one thought about it, but because they were being cheap.

Your problem is you are arguing over something you know nothing about, and 5 minutes of research on google is all it takes to prove you wrong. But you are either too lazy or too stupid to look something up before you open your mouth about it.

Easy thing would be to offer tickets to any remaining home game, not just this weeks game. Detroit is a 5 hour drive from Buffalo, its not really fair or even practical to ask your fans to make that commute.
