Uniforms for the rest of the season and next year

    Seems like the first year in Memphis the Tennessee Oilers wore all white every game. If memory serves the players, EG, McNair, ect didn't like the baby blues so they wanted the all white.

    LOL....I was going to say that they were acknowledging that the remainder of their games this season were going to be away games, but this would work for me as well.

    The light blue jerseys are our best look. I understand the nostalgia that comes along with the classic navy jerseys, but the light blue ones are nicer. I know a few girls who are Titans fans solely because they like the light blue (we'll take new fans any way we can get them right?).

    What needs changing is the helmet. Lose the flaming thumbtack and use the sword logo.

    I'm not down on the navy jerseys, they're fine, just think light blue looks best and it looks best with white pants. We wore that combo a few times last year. delanie.jpg

    I agree. I like the old navy ones because it reminds me of the good 'ol days, however.

    The one issue with the light blue jersey unis is that we do kinda look like smurfs...

    I will miss the light blue mainly because it was a unique color in the NFL. Only the Chargers wear it (and only twice a year as an alternate). The NFL doesn't need another navy blue team.

    I know you're not presenting this as fact, but I do think it's something a lot of people believe. I would love to see a study on it. I'm sure it's not true, though.

    Just anecdotally, these are the teams that have gotten new uniforms since Nike took over:

    Seahawks
    Dolphins
    Jaguars
    Vikings
    Buccaneers

    Not exactly a lot of winning in there.

    It's hard to imagine much else other than VY sitting on a bench with an ice bag on his knee as the highlight of the light blue era.

    The light blue re-done smartly would be a great look - but I totally get the team wanting to move on from that.

    Navy is fine. When they wear the classic home sets it always looks better than anytime remotely code-blue anyway..
    Just do something classy, stay away from red and dagnabbit, get a new non-white helmet..
