Will this be the worst Titans season ever (by record)?

All of the next three games are winnable.

The Giants are 3-9 and have lost 7 straight including to the Jags this week.

The Jets are an equally ugly 2-9 team.

Titans play both of these teams at home.

The Jags are always beatable, already gave us one of two wins.

From a drafting perspective, the best we will probably draft is #3 overall. I find it much more likely that the Titans find a way to win one than either Oakland or the Bucs, given their remaining schedules.

Winning two of the next three games would probably push us somewhere around #8.

 

I think that we could find two wins between the Hags, Giants, and Jets, so I voted in the minority. That said, I am almost evenly split between 3 and 4 wins for the season. No way do we get more than 4 IMO.

Either way this season is worse than 04-05...back then we were in cap purgatory....now is due to inept personnel moves, lack of player commitment, and questionable coaching decisions this season IMO.

 

I don't count on us winning any of those, considering this team finds ways to lose more often than ways to win. maybe we get one, just one. But I'm not counting on it.

We'll sneak in one more win somewhere. The next three are all winnable.

I don't expect to win another game and I certainly won't be picking us in pick 'em, but I feel like we'll luck into one somewhere.

Again, it's important to note that the finale against the Colts may be against their backups... so it would be winnable - even though they're backups could easily beat our starters.

Nothing would surprise me... not even 5-11 since our remaining schedule is such a joke.

We will lose to the Giants, and they will win out.

We spark teams. It's our job.

 

Locker has played good at times. Its possible that he could have a good game if Mett can't play.

 

On the game day thread Gut correctly pointed out that Locker is not really an "off the bench" type of player, so it is not incredibly surprising that he showed some rust yesterday. With a week of preparation he should be a bit better, especially given that he is playing for a good trade in the offseason.

We should root for that as well, as it may improve what we get for him (maybe a 5th instead of a 6th, or maybe a draft pick instead of nothing LOL).

That said, I still am hoping for Mett to get back next week....we need the rest of the season to finish evaluating him IMO.
