Horton on Sammie Hill.....Am I Missing Something????

AM I MISSING SOMETHING ON SAMMIE HILL??? The guy seems like one of several problems with our run defense to me. Yet, Horton called him "MVP type player to our defense." WTF??? OK I will give it the benefit of the doubt and say maybe I missed it. Does anyone know why he is a MVP type player???

 

Anytime you are giving up as many yards in the run game as we are the NT is not making plays. If he were making plays there would be far fewer games where we gave up 100+yds rushing. He has 24 total tackles, 2 a game. In the Pittsburg game 31 carries by Bell were straight up the middle. He is ranked as 65th of 82 NTs, which is higher than I would rank him. I just do not understand how Horton can get behind this guy!!

If we are going to see "The roster look much different" as Tommy would have us believe, then it needs to start with guys like Hill. I would think cutting Hill, Griffin, Wimbley, & Oher would be the 1st moves to make. Levitre should be in this group, but with his huge dead $$$ he will probably end up being a WAY over priced back up. Unless we can find a STUPID GM that would give us a 7th round pick & take on his STUPID large $$$. Maybe if we sit him a while he will get it together, he was good in Buffalo, but has sucked ASS here.
