Kurt Warner was the exact opposite of Leinart. I give Warner more attention. I'm willing to see what Whiz can do next year - and the next if we do see improvement.

You already know what he can do. He produces a team that is uninspired and dead.

He had Warner, great WRs and a good defense at Arizona for 2 seasons. After that he didn't do squat. In his last 2 seasons before he got fired Horton was his DC so don't expect anything better there.

 

Well that's certainly true in the 49ers case. Niner fans out here are crying for Walker back. Vernon Davis has completely been useless this year and they've wanted to use a 2 TE set as well but Vance McDonald isn't any good - wishing they had a guy like Delanie back who can stretch the defense.

I agree, but to me his performance this season should cost him another mulligan for next season.

At this point he is on the hot seat at the start of next season, at least to me anyway. There had better be considerable improvement.......

 

I thought we re-signed him to an extension this past off season with JC.
