But if we had a better coach, we would be a better team!!!

We truly can't evaluate any talent because the coaching is so putrid. How can you evaluate a WR playing RB? This guy doesn't understand player strengths and weaknesses

If he can catch the ball, run routes, and get open.

You can also evaluate the line if the lineman is getting pushed around like a rag doll.

While locker was playing, our WR's were getting open more than Ive seen in a long time. The really screwed up part is when we put in CBJ, then Mett, they werent.

There are only a few options here that I cna think of.

    1. They feared his legs, which allowed less defenders to be in the backfield.

    2. Losing both TE's hurt more than we thought

    3. Whiz forgot how to call games.

I really do not believe its number 3, however I have been reviewing games and I have not seen our WR's getting open. Even scrubs that were picked up off the heap (Ravens) were blanketing our WR's.

Sure, it could be Whiz, or it could be the talent. It could also be both.

I agree that it is premature to fire him this season.....BUT I have no problem seeing him go after next season if we do not show significant progress.

I still think that it was the right move to whack Munch also.

So you're agreeing those that say Whiz isn't better than Munch? Which isn't saying much about either.

Anybody wanting whiz to get fired, either can't see what is going on within the organization, or just another highly emotional fanboy... I admit its rough to see this putrid roster completely flop week in and out. Although, whiz and co. cant control every facet that happens on the field, plus a total roster overhaul is going to happen so why care so much if they get blown out, whiz doesn't care he knows what is coming as does all the players. A decimated O-Line which isn't good to begin with along with rookies starting everywhere, PS guys, and 2nd tier veterans who don't fit the scheme to begin with, what in the hell do you people think was going to happen. FA and the Draft is all that matters this is what it was meant to be for whiz a trial year, his real coaching year starts next year

My argument is that this site and most fans stuck their foot in their mouths last season with their "anyone but Munch" BS. They made complete fools of themselves and are doing it again this season.

We need more talent, period. Sadly, at almost every position. Until THIS issue gets addressed, then it doenst matter who the QB, or coach is.

Last year when you ask why Munch sucked, it was because he called timeouts at bad times, had bad challenges, and "looked emotionless on the sidelines".

They said that him and BM should have made this line much better. Look at the job that he has done with the line in Pitt.

He needed more talent. Its the same problem that Whiz has right now.

Every woe on this team falls squarely on the GM's shoulders, because he is the one who has the final say on who the players are on this team. This past draft, could end up being a good one. We need more of that, and less of the previous years drafts. Until a team find a way to get talent on it, the coaching, QB, and pretty much everything else on the team doesn't matter.

    talent talent talent

Thats the one word this fanbase needs to roll off their lips when talking about this team, we need much more talent. It shouldnt be "fire Whiz".

Hell, even if Whiz does suck. Its hard to evaluate him, just like it is hard to evaluate Mett.

We are SERIOUSLY deprived of talent right now. More so, than most teams around the league.

As an OLineman, you need to go forward sometime, you can't be constantly backing up. As a coach you utilize the strengths of your players, we have 2 of the best mobile pulling guards(supposedly) yet how many Counters/pulls/sweeps/traps have we seen? I truly think Whiz's avoidance to a run game really really sets up this entire offense for failure.

He isn't going to get fired.

But he should. If the Titans were a respectable organization, he would be fired.
