Yeah, I thought about this too. However, does this team really have any strengths? We aren't good all the way around (offense, defense, & special teams). What should have been a strength our O-Line is one of our biggest weaknesses. Again, I think there is a lot that's easier said than done unfortunately with this team.

I honestly don't like him as a high first round pick. That's just me. I think if we draft him we can gear up for another 5 years of so-so football. It's something about this kid I'm not really sold on.

However, if we do draft him then hey I'll ride with him as long as he's in Two-Tone Blue. The big question would be if we did draft him if we'd move to a spread offense similar to the Eagles/Patriots... That would be interesting. We would just need to revamp our O-Line AGAIN and improve our WRs (maybe). Sub-par WRs can thrive in a spread offense. Think Whiz would do it?

Step 1: Have Webster and the entire OL (minus Lewan and Schwenke) take the field before the game next Sunday.

Step 2: Execute Webster and the OL in front of fans by guillotine.

Step 3: Put Mett on IR to prevent from further damaging his progress behind the worst OL in the history of the game, and let Locker/CBJ get destroyed.

Step 4: Finish 2-14 and accept the fact that we have become the laughingstock of the NFL.

Step 5: Drink our sorrows away and pray that we have a great draft.

We need so many players. This is probably an unpopular view, but I'd like the Titans to trade the high pick they're going to get this year (if they can) for volume of picks in lower rounds over next few years to address so many situations. Free Agency is probably not the way to build it imho (at least I've not been impressed with FA results on average, and doubt many FA want to come here at this point.), and one high pick won't change the team given where we're at. I think it's pretty obvious the players we have currently don't fit the schemes that coaches want on both sides of the ball. This has risk, obviously, and requires we draft well, but I think its probably our best shot going forward.

Drafting for schemes means committing to existing coaches and philosophy unless immediate change made, otherwise you just end up w/ players that aren't fit for the next coach if coaching is a key source of the problem. I'm disappointed in the drop-off in play this year, and am concerned the locker room may be lost. My hope is it's got to get better, but I know franchises can muddle in the league cellar for extended periods. I didn't think it could be this bad this year - I thought we were close to turning the corner last year - so I'm not sure what to expect going forward.

We already have to revamp our O-line and improve our WRs so I don't think it would really change that if we took him. Now that Mett is on IR and we have no real QB of the future, Whiz is going to be forced to choose a QB in the draft or FA and I don't really see any other great options.

There is no Clowney or guaranteed #1 pick this year so why not? Teams with franchise QBs are always better than those without. We haven't had a franchise QB since McNair, the franchise needs one.

    Why does everyone say this?

What has Clowney done this year? How about RG3?

I really dont understand why people think a drafting pass rusher is a bigger priority over drafting an elite quarterback. While elite pass rushers can completely change the complexion of your defense, having an elite quarter back changes the complexion of your entire team. Look at the best pass rusher in the league right now, JJ Watt. He is unstoppable, but the Texans still suck overall. But if we draft and hit on an Luck caliber talent it will definitely take us to the next level.

Im tired of the mediocrity on this team. Im tired of having just a "good enough" quarterback. With a few exceptions, history says that you find the elite QBs at the top of the draft... This will be one of our best chances to find our future QB.

What's up, been a while. This team will without a doubt end up with a top 5 pick. With that said, if mariota and Winston ( imo they are the top qbs in this draft) are still there when we pick I say we move back to around the 12th pick, get a few extra picks and then take one of these guys at that spot.
But before the draft we need to sign fas at about every single position. Our online is the biggest disappointment in the NFL. our entire d is garbage, I would keep Williamson and Casey out of our staring squad and that's it. So in order to be competitive next year we need to replace about 9 players on d and 9 players on o.
