And BTW, clearly having Horton hiding out in the box isn't working for defensive coordination. Doncha think that MAYBE Whiz should tell him to get down to the sidelines and help coach that defense? Looks like the assistants can't handle that job by themselves.

Do we have that defense now? People loved Eddie because he gave 100 percent out there on every play. We also had a QB that could masks the offensive whoes because he could pull a rabbit out of his hat at any point in any game.

Back then, it was all about McNair and the defense. Eddie was just the guy who pounded the rock.

This team has already given up. Horton, Whiz, and Smith have all said that this team will be very different next season because of the players they want to replace. Most of these guys know they are gone and you can see it on the field in every game.

As far as their run/pass ratio?

The league average through week 11 is that teams throw 55.1 percnet of the time. The Titans, have thrown 58 percent of the time.

    They rank 11th.

The difference, percentage wise, is closer than you think.

No coach, no QB, is going to be successful until we get better players. We all know that.

Maybe they would have gotten better had not Whiz given up on them before the season even started. And that seems that is what must have happened. Either that, or Whiz and Co. are just sorry coaches. I wonder if some of them will talk after they get cut/traded?

It is crazy that Mett was in that game with absolutely no hope of winning. If there was a chance we could come back, OK I get that. However, the way this game went, Mett being in the game in the 4th quarter was inexcusable. The kid has a future if Whiz does not get him killed and we get an oline/run game to support him. It would also help to have some WRs that will catch a few balls as well.

I think whiz gets at least one more year before we can call for his head. Yes he has made some bonehead decisions but its his first year with a horrible roster. half of our team is playing in an unfamiliar system or out of position. We have had 3 different starting lts and a very underachieving online. Not to mention 3 starting qbs. Any coach would have a hard time winning under these conditions. With that said if we don't win 8 games next year I will change my mind on whiz.

Whiz is not THE problem...but he is A problem, and almost certainly not part of the solution.

why when u have a pro bowl return guy do u cut him replace him with 2 different return guys that are past their prime. been watching mariana return for teh bears if he bringa it out he has been gettin close to the 30. Well lets see he gets rid of guys that used to preform and replaces them with has beens or wana bes i mean only trouble with jake was he got hurt the line was suppose to help that he plays a game and wins and whiz doesnt like the way he played next game he hurts his hand and he never came back
we wanted to see mett well we have and i would rather have jake in there at least i know he can move but then its tommy smiths team if he is satisfied then well i guess we will live with whizzinator
