These are the guys I say are pretty much safe.. as you can see, there are a whole lot of holes there. IMO, you build off of these guys. Whether it be making them have some kind of important role or making them an impact starter. Build around this core and actually put a freaking competitive team on the field. This is sickening.

I agree with you but, McCourty, mett, Sankey, Warmack and schwenke all need good players behind them to push them. mett and Sankey have looked good considering the team they play on.

What benefits the team most as a whole? Do we start with management? A super QB? an Oline that can give an average QB time to execute? a defense that can hold the opposition to few TDs? We are weak on all counts; so what do you shore up first? Do we have money to do it all? Do we have the management that could even get it done if we have the money?
Too many questions; who knows what the best solution is?

    1. Fire Whiz
    2. Relocate the team
    3. Fire Webster
    4. Sign Ndomukung Suh to a huge incentive laden deal
    5. Trade the #2 pick for the 7-18th pick and additional picks and take the best OLB on the draft board

    6. Cut LeVitre and Oher
    7. Re-sign Roos and let him play LT, Lewan at RT for another yr
    8. Draft Connor Cook in the 4th rd and groom him for QB

    1. Won't happen
    2. Won't happen
    3. Might happen, but don't think so
    4. Possible, but not likely with where he "wants" to play
    5. Very possible
    6. Not terrible, would prefer to keep Oher and try him out at LG for at least a short period. See if he could do it.
    7. If Oher goes, I actually like this.
    8. No way he last till the 4th. He goes 2nd at the latest. He won't come out otherwise.

Yeah, I put that as the "core" of the team to build around, but some of those guys might be better suited as important "role" players. Sankey might need to be a change of pace guy to an actually decent starter.

We sign Roos to play right tackle as a stop gap. Move Warmack back to his original position at LG. Sign a middle of the pack right guard.

Sign a WR. We have not had the best of luck at this, but we need something. Washington will be gone, Hunter is Hunter. We need a real WR.

Then we use the 4th or later pick or two on line depth.

Sign a pass rusher. DE, or Lb, doesn't matter.

Spend our 1st on the best defensive player available. Same for the 2nd, unless there is a good WR on the board that can come in and play immediately.

Depending on how much cap we have after signing our WR and pass rusher, we go for another middle of the pack WR, Whiz utilizes a downfield passing game. We need the WR's who can get down the field, and catch it when its thrown to them.

If theres money left, look at other holes but we cant fix them all in one off season.

I'll tell you, I've seriously thought about how a move for Warmack back to LG like in college would do for him. Glad you brought that up.

There is no way we get rid of him. Put him back at his natural spot because we need to replace the starter there, no matter what.
