  1. The Titans have found their QBOTF. Roll with him in '15 and beyond.

  2. He's clearly earned the #1 spot going into next season. The Titans can reevaluate after next season.

  3. He's earned the chance to compete for the #1 with a vet or draft pick.

  4. He's a backup so the Titans MUST bring in a vet or draft pick to be #1.

I don't see very many people saying that Mett is "garbage. Most of the folks that I have seen here are, like me, merely saying that Mett has not shown enough development to just roll with him next season. Admittedly, that is largely due to his getting injured because of poor OL play, but it does not change my position that his portfolio of work shown to date is not sufficient to just hand him the keys next season.

Does that mean that we draft someone? Maybe, although I am definitely not enamored with who is available as a high #1 pick (we would be really reaching IMO). I need to take a look at who may be available on the FA market. Maybe we find a serviceable vet who can give us some level of security if Mett falters next season, then continue the Mett experiment. At any rate, IMO both CBJ and Locker need to go in the offseason.

I think my stance is with Cheesehead on this. Mett , for my liking , has potentially shown that with an OL in front of him thats not full of crap , he could make at least a steady back-up in this league. Give him some weapons and more specifically a decent O-Line to get some protection off and things could pan out better than that.

The class of 2015 QB's haven't sold it to me at all so once again I am looking to get a FA in here alongside Mett. Whether CBJ stays or not , to me , is questionable at the moment though I have no doubt that he will stick like glue to Whiz.

ALL the picks in the draft this year need to go defense and we must try and get some FA cover in here too. Its not an inspiring group to be honest but what we have at the moment is utterly dreadful asides maybe one or two names.

Funny how your opinion on the Oline changes as soon as CJ isn't here anymore lmao.

I think Mett had ONE first down in yesterday's game. ONE pass for 26 yards. Locker had several on his one drive that ended in a pretty good pass deflecting into an interception. I hate it that Locker is so fragile, cause I like to watch him play. Mett might develop into starter material, but I sure am not ready to crown him for next season. I fully expect Whiz to pick up a FA vet like Hoyer. I don't think Whiz is going to hitch his wagon to a rookie QB until he gets other things settled on this team.

No matter what happens you have to fully look at QBs in the draft. Is Mariotta a guy that will without a doubt be a franchise QB? If you truely think that he is then you have to take him if you have the chance. I really haven't watched many Duck games. My early opinion is that he is not a sure fire winner in the NFL.

The most important thing that this FO can do is to not F-up this high draft pick like we have done the past several times. We need a major talent infusion on both sides of the ball.

I think this years draft will make or break us long term. If we have a good draft, we should only be 1 or 2 years behind. If we screw it up, we're atleast 5 years behind.

The Titans WILL NOT draft a WR in the first 3 rounds of the draft. Mark it down.

We need play makers on both sides of the ball. Although we have invested a 1st in Wright and a 2nd and 3rd in Hunter we still do not have a stud WR that teams must game plan against. We don't have a real deep threat. If Mettenberger is our QB then we need to get a true deep threat burner to allow Mett to air it out. Of course we need an upgraded OL to give Mett time to air it out.

Webster has shown that he is willing to take BPA in the draft depending on where we draft Cooper could be BPA.
